The WOPH Future Leaders Initiative is a mentorship program created to support young women ages 20 to 30 as they build confidence, leadership skills, life skills, and a stronger foundation for their future.
Why This Program Matters
The transition from early adulthood into career, financial independence, personal growth, and leadership can be challenging. Many young women navigate this season without consistent mentorship, practical life guidance, or access to women who can help them see what is possible.
The WOPH Future Leaders Initiative was created to meet young women during this important stage of life and provide a supportive environment where they can grow in confidence, discover their strengths, develop life skills, and begin shaping their future with intention.
When young women receive mentorship, leadership guidance, and real-world encouragement, they are better equipped to succeed in their careers, relationships, families, and communities. The impact does not stop with one participant — it creates a ripple effect as women grow, lead, and eventually uplift others.
Who We Serve
The program is designed for young women ages 20 to 30 who are ready to grow personally and professionally.

Program Structure
- 5-month mentorship program
- 10 mentees per session
- 2 sessions per year
- Up to 20 young women served annually
- Bi-weekly mentorship sessions
- Hybrid format — Los Angeles area and Zoom
- Guest speakers and professional mentors
- Graduation recognition dinner and certificate of completion
What Mentees Learn
The Future Leaders Initiative helps young women develop practical life skills, emotional confidence, financial literacy, and leadership qualities that support long-term personal and professional growth.
Confidence & Self-Esteem
Participants learn to recognize their value, strengthen their voice, and build confidence in who they are becoming.
Personal Presentation
Mentees learn how to present themselves professionally and authentically in personal, social, and workplace environments.
Emotional Health
The program supports emotional awareness, decision-making, personal responsibility, and resilience.
Financial Literacy
Participants gain practical knowledge around money management, budgeting, financial responsibility, and building a foundation for long-term stability.
Goal Setting & Vision
Mentees explore what matters to them, identify meaningful goals, and begin creating a vision for their future.
Career Growth
Young women are encouraged to explore their interests, talents, passions, and possible career paths.
Workplace Skills
Participants learn how to navigate professional spaces with confidence, integrity, and professionalism.
Self-Care
The program encourages young women to care for their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Leadership
Mentees are encouraged to lead with purpose and continue the cycle of mentorship by uplifting other women.
Mentorship, Community & Real-World Exposure
Participants are invited to attend Women of Prosperous Hearts events where they can meet women entrepreneurs, business leaders, speakers, mentors, and community supporters.

Mentees have opportunities to attend events, connect with inspiring women, and experience real-world examples of leadership and community.
